Cervical Collars Rigid

Cervical collars or orthoses are used primarily in the symptomatic treatment of ligamentous and muscular injuries in the neck region, but also may be used to alleviate discomfort caused by diseases affecting the cervical spine, such as acute osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and cerebral palsy. They are commonly used when immobilization is necessary due to whiplash-type injuries, fractures and surgical fusion.

It is strongly advised that patients consult with their doctor to determine the best cervical device for their condition.
